We extend our sincere thank you to all the individuals, foundations, corporations, and churches who have so generously given of their resources and talents to support UMOM families and the move to their new home.
The $23 million project to provide a new campus and support services to more families successfully met its Phase I goal of $18 million. Our families moved to their new home in October 2009 with the help of more than 400 volunteers. The Hobbs Family Child Development Center, the Adkinson Family Resource Center (through the generosity of the Doug Parker family), the BHHS Legacy Wellness Center, and multiple play areas for the children are just some of the highlights of the campus.
We have now launched the $5 million Phase II effort of the campaign to complete the campus and rooms to accommodate our capacity of 156 families. Your help is needed more than ever to “finish the job.”
