Child Development Center

The Child Development Center provides programming for children age 6 weeks through 5^th grade, in an environment which gives children the opportunity to explore, discover and interact with their world. Children experience meaningful play in a warm setting. Developmental centers encourage creativity and curiosity, as the children develop and master developmental goals and objectives.

Children are assessed in their development - socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. When an area of concern arises referrals are made to outside resources for the family, and the classroom staff creates experiences within the classroom to address the targeted needs.

UMOM's program is one of the first to be part of the voluntary “Quality First” program, through the First Things First Board in Arizona. This ensures our children have access to the quality early learning opportunities that will help them arrive at kindergarten – ready to succeed.
