If you’re struggling, please know you’re not alone. Below, we’ve curated resources to get help at UMOM and with other organizations and agencies around the valley.

Families with Children

The Family Housing Hub helps families with dependent children in need of emergency shelter. The FHH is a single point of entry for families in Maricopa County to access community resources & get onto the waiting list for shelter.

We recommend calling 2-1-1 or visiting 211arizona.org/ before visiting to get matched with the best resources for your family, which may include options to prevent homelessness.

Visit the FHH on the UMOM campus at 3307 E Van Buren Street in Phoenix, or visit one of the satellite locations in the West Valley.

Single Women

UMOM’s Halle Women’s Center serves single women without children who are in need of emergency shelter, including (but not limited to) victims of domestic violence.

Call the Halle Women’s Center directly at 602-362-5833 to get onto the waiting list for shelter.

Halle Women’s Center is located at 3424 E Van Buren Street in Phoenix, across the street from UMOM.

Domestic Violence or Trafficking

Military Veterans & Their Families

Families including a veteran of the US military experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness can access support through The Family Housing Hub on the UMOM campus at 3333 E Van Buren Street in Phoenix.

Support is also available through the Veteran Crisis Line by dialing 988 (then press “1”) or texting 838255.

Single Men

Support for single men experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County is provided at the HSC Welcome Center.

Call 602.229.5155 or visit the HSC Welcome Center at 206 S. 12th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007.

Behavioral Health Assistance
