IF YOU ARE IN A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION:
Call the Domestic Violence Centralized Screening line at 480-890-3039. Open 7 days/week, 24-hours with English/ Spanish speaking representatives with resources to connects people in crisis with domestic violence shelters throughout Maricopa County, including UMOM’s Domestic Violence Shelter.

- Find out if you’re in an abusive relationship
- Safety planning
- How to help a domestic violence victim
- The Legal Advocacy Hotline and other available resources.

A VETERAN IN NEED OF SHELTER AND/OR HOUSING:
Call 1-877-4AID-VET (1-877-424-3838) to access the national helpline for veterans in need or visit the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs website. Click here to learn more about UMOM’s homeless veterans and families program, eligibility criteria and intake.
OTHER SHELTER AND HOUSING NEEDS:
UMOM offers a number of shelter and housing assistance programs for families with children under the age of 18 or in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Regardless of needs, the first place to start in our programs is to call The Family Housing Hub at 602-595-8700.
The Family Housing Hub screens for emergency shelter at UMOM, Watkins, CASS-Vista Colina, and Salvation Army family shelters. Families will be screened for shelter and placed on the service priority list for shelter services. When shelter is available, you will be contacted for intake.
If other resources are available, the Family Housing Hub will attempt to make appropriate referrals.
