AZFamily: UMOM New Day Centers in Phoenix expanding workforce training program

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix-based UMOM New Day Centers is expanding its Homegrown program to now include workforce training for careers in warehouses and similar facilities. And that is something good!

UMOM, which provides services for families experiencing homelessness, initially launched as a culinary training program to provide clients with skills and experience to gain employment. Now those pathways are being expanded into other areas.
